Built in 1991 at a cost of RM500,000. Now the mosque has been upgraded to accommodate up to 1,000 worshipers at any one time. The first Friday prayer was performed on 17 January 1992. It was built simultaneously with Plaza Kotaraya, Johor Bahru and is located on the 2nd & 3rd floor of the complex. It is the first mosque in Malaysia built by Johor Corporation in a shopping complex. Role in providing worship facilities to traders, visitors to Plaza Kotaraya (now Galleria@Kotaraya) and also the surrounding community.
