Product Description
Comprising a total of nine distinct villages, Parit Bugis encompasses a rich tapestry of communities, namely Kampung Parit Gantong, Kampung Melayu, Kampung Parit Begelan, Parit Bugis, Parit Nombor Satu, Parit Nombor Tiga, Parit Nombor Empat, Parit Nombor Lima, and Kampung Sungai Balang Kecil. This collective settlement traces its origins back to the year 1909 when the Bugis community, hailing from their homeland, embarked upon their journey to Tanah Melayu. As time progressed, Kabupaten Ponorga from Java played a pivotal role in the development of this region, stepping in after the Bugis community began to migrate away from the area.
Renowned for their thriving palm tree plantations, which constitute the primary source of livelihood for the local populace, these villages stand as emblematic examples of their agricultural prowess. The Parit Bugis Homestay offers a captivating haven for tourists, where they are treated to captivating displays of traditional performances by the villagers. These include enthralling spectacles like the kuda kepang, barongan, zapin, ghazal, and kompang, all of which serve to immerse visitors in the vibrant cultural fabric of the region.
