Galeri Seni & Pelancongan Pontain or Pontian Art & Tourism Gallery is located in the Town of Pontian District in Johor, West Malaysia. The gallery is situated not far from the only Mc Donald’s restaurant in Pontian Town, it is a must visit tourist attractions in the area.
If your are interested in finding the cultural image & identity of Pontian, this is the right place for you to visit.. specially if you want to be interacted with the local artist.
Our visitors comes from so many levels of society.. ranging from students, corporate participants, individual and foreigners. Having 2 levels exhibiting arts.. ranging form sculpture, paintings, modern batik paintings, motives and characters.. are all displayed in Level 2 and Level 3 of our 3 story buildings.
The gallery is consist of 5 exhibition area, they are.. The Art Gallery, Figures Gallery, Interactive Art, Interactive Craft & Sculpture plus the Souvenir Shop and a Restaurant at the ground floor.
As for now.. visitors are not charged for visiting the gallery unless there is special arrangements to engaged in our special art programs.
the gallery is open from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm every day except Tuesday and Friday. However, you can always contact us if you require special timing and date even during public holidays.
